Founded by Australian designer Jaslar Pearl, the brand weaves together cinematic colour, curated tailoring, and European nostalgia to create pieces that feel both adventurous and emotionally rich. Each garment is made to feel like a memory, warm, expressive, and made for the main character moments in life.

Rooted in both Italian and Australian sensibilities, Jaslar Pearl takes inspiration from faraway hotels, vintage wardrobes, and the idea that clothing should carry a story. With exclusive collections released in limited runs, the brand maintains a refined sense of rarity and collectability.

Behind The Name

"Born in Werribee and raised by a single mother who gave me everything — including my name — I owe much of who I am to her strength and support. From a young age, I was drawn to fashion. By eight, I was sewing garments for my mum, designing tracksuits, knitwear, and anything else I could dream up.

But growing up with an unusual name in regional Victoria wasn’t easy. I was bullied for both my identity and my creativity, especially as a boy interested in fashion. The ridicule chipped away at my confidence and made me step back from what I loved.

Eventually, after moving to Queensland and facing more of the same, I dropped out of school. Teachers told me I wouldn’t amount to anything — but deep down, I knew I needed to build something of my own.

That something became Jaslar Pearl: a label named after the very identity I was once mocked for. What started as a form of self-liberation has grown into a brand rooted in storytelling, intention, and the idea that what makes you different is exactly what makes you powerful."
